She completed her clinical/practicum internship at the family counseling center with Terrell Independent School district with special permission to attend to clients enrolled in the special education program at Terrell State Hospital. She earned her Master in Art in Clinical Community Counseling with an emphasis on children and families from Texas A&M University-Commerce as well.
